Nothing playing

Grab the corners, match the seams,
It's the stuff of nightmares, stuff of screams,
I'm tucking one end into the other,
Like a snake consuming its own brother,
The elastic curls, it laughs at my face,
A recursive loop in a cotton space.
The fitted sheet defies me!
The fitted sheet defies me!
It's a geometric nightmare!
A fabric cage of lies!
If I fold it lengthwise, the width gets wide,
If I flip it over, it’s inside-out inside,
It’s a Moebius strip, a topological trap,
A cosmic void hidden in a laundry nap,
My sanity is unraveling with every pleat,
By the gods, I will master this fitted sheet!
The fitted sheet defies me!
The fitted sheet defies me!
It's a geometric nightmare!
A fabric cage of lies!
Left pocket, right pocket, diagonal slide,
There's nowhere for logic to hide (nowhere to hide),
One corner's missing, the fabric is weeping,
While the rest of the world is peacefully sleeping!
(No square edges... no square edges!)
The fitted sheet defies me!
The fitted sheet defies me!
It's a geometric nightmare!
A fabric cage of lies!
Fine. Just... fine.
(Thud)
Get gone.
